So what the hell is it then ...

First of all, why am I writing? I’m not a writer by any means! I’ve always been fascinated by people that could write, though. To get a message or story across that is captivating, informative or witty is probably one of the hardest but most impressive skill sets that I can think of. So, bear with me while I try to maneuver through the struggles of putting my thoughts into words in what is not even my native tongue.

But I digress, I wanted to write about what Sadistic Toolz is or better yet, what I envision it to be in the hopefully not too far future.

As someone that grew up in the Music and Skateboarding sub cultures of the 80’s and early 90’s, I have a deep feeling of gratitude and love for both cultures and I am at a point in my life, where I want to do my part to give back and to encourage and inspire people to follow their passion just like I did for the past 30+ years.

But how does someone give back? How does someone reach people and have a positive impact in this world where we’re all having a hard time to focus for more than a few seconds? That’s the tough part. Maybe even tougher than writing these words!

Sadistic Toolz is and will be a clothing company with a charitable side to it that is deeply committed to the outcasts and misfits out there. Through our own line of merchandise and through collaborations with inspirational people in the Music, Art and Skateboarding world, it is our goal to support charities, foundations and events that are impacting and supporting the underground cultures we all grew up in. Our focus will be to inspire people to find and follow their passion. The hope is to create a community of likeminded people that find inspiration and encouragement in other people’s stories but first and foremost in creating their own path. And we would love to be a part of that journey.

So yeah, even with all the “branding’ that is going on from spending time on how things look, having a logo to posting hip b/w photos on Instagram, Sadistic Toolz Is Not A Brand. It is so much more … for me and hopefully for everybody that comes in contact with it.
